Description
This is an upgrade for the ZYYX Pro extruder with optimised extruder performance. Firstly it utilizes an internal gearing ratio of 3:1. Secondly it adds Dual-Drive gears from Bondtech. These gears grips of the filament from two directions which results in improved grip and much less risk of the drive gears slipping or digging into the thread, much like four-wheel drive for cars.
The upgrade is based on the Bondtech design but adjusted to fit to the ZYYX Pro. It is made from proCarbon to withstand the heated chamber of the ZYYX Pro.
The Bondtech Dual-Drive technology delivers uninterrupted material flow without fear of grinding or slipping in even the most demanding conditions.
The upgrade integrates the ZYYX z probe sensor and comes with a new compact stepper motor to fit inside the ZYYX Pro housing with some small modifications. It requires both a firmware update and a Simplify3D profile update to work.
